Yesterday I Got Lost

Yesterday I got lost in the moment.

And there were many many moments. 

I road tripped with some Soul Sisters – and we talked and talked.  



We left behind everyday chores – and we talked and talked.



We left behind technology – no signal – no choice.



We paddled in rock pools  – and we talked and talked.



We lunched on the grass – and we talked and talked.



We read inspiring prose – and we talked and talked.



We shared confusions and clarities – and we talked and talked.  



We built dreams for our future – and we talked and talked.  



We plunged in the ocean – and we laughed and laughed.



We got sand between our toes – and we danced and danced.



The sky filled with rainbows – and we danced and danced.  



We got lost in movement and music – and we danced and danced.  



We let our souls fly – and we danced and danced.  



We sat round the table – and we laughed and laughed.



We shared our past stories – and we laughed and laughed.  



We headed towards home – and we talked and talked.  



A collection of multiple moments – some still, some filled with movement and music, many filled with laughter.  



And as the moments become memory – I am left with a deep pervading sense of gratitude and joy.



Being lost has let me find so much in one day.



There is more to be said and more to be heard, more to be shared – and definitely more to be danced.
